If you’ve ever felt like your kid is smart, curious, and full of potential, but something about traditional school just isn’t working for them…you’re not imagining it. The system wasn’t built for every kid. And that’s not your child’s fault, and it’s not yours either.
I loved the eight years in a middle school classroom, but as I reflected back I realized how often I watched kids disengage in school- not because they couldn’t learn- but because the schedule, the structure, and the pace weren’t built for the way their brains actually work. That realization is what led me to homeschool my own two kids, and it’s what drives everything I do now.
With a master’s in curriculum, assessment, and instruction, I bring traditional teacher training to the table alongside a deep curiosity about the latest brain research on how kids actually learn. Add in my own experience as a former teacher and nanny, now a homeschooling mom navigating real family life, and you get an approach that’s both informed and grounded in reality.
I work with families who want their kids to stay genuinely curious, feel safe, and actually enjoy learning. Because when those three things are in place, everything else follows.
